Admitted International Undergraduate: Next Steps

  1. SUBMIT FINANCIAL SUPPORT DOCUMENTS FOR THE SEVIS I-20 FORM [ + ]

    All international students must show proof of financial support for a minimum of 1 academic year. Before you are eligible for the SEVIS I-20 form, you must submit the following documents:

    1. Financial Responsibility and Support form
  2. APPLY FOR YOUR F1 STUDENT VISA [ + ]

    Assistance with the F1 Visa application will be emailed to you.  For additional information, please visit the website .

  3. MYLEWIS ACCOUNT ACCESS [ + ]

    After you have received your F1 visa, you are ready to start the enrollment process.  This is done through your MyLewis account.  When you receive your F1 visa, please email international@lewisu.edu and request your MyLewis account access.

    Log into MyLewis, click on the tab “New Fisrt-Year and Transfers”.  You are required to complete the steps listed here.  Please note that step 3 is not for international students, please skip this step. 

  4. SUBMIT YOUR FINAL SECONDARY/COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT [ + ]

    Incoming First-Year - You may be required to submit your final secondary school transcripts or national exam results. When you have these documents, please be sure to send them to Lewis University or bring official copies with you to campus.

    Incoming Transfer Student - Classes you took at another college or university need to be verified once you enroll. If you’ve completed coursework at more than one university, you will need to send in transcripts from all institutions attended.

  5. PARTICIPATE IN NEW FLYER ORIENTATION [ + ]

    All international students must attend the New Student Orientation before the start of each semester.  The date of the orientation will be emailed to you.  Please plan to arrive on campus before this date.  If you are living in on-campus housing, please email international@lewisu.edu to confirm your move-in date.
