Organization Summary

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. is the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African-Americans, and was founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York by seven African American men known as “The Seven Jewels”. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities. The Nu Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. was chartered on September 1st 1977 by co-founders Gregory Spinks (Omega Chapter) and Robert Watkins Jr. and their charter line. Today, the Nu Epsilon chapter continues to promote brotherhood and academic excellence in the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community and will continue to serve and do the good work of Alpha in all endeavors.
